Operakällarens Matsal

At Operakällarens Matsal, international haute cuisine is served under the leadership of chef Viktor Westerlind. With previous experience at renowned restaurants such as F12, Frantzén, and Aira, Viktor has many years of experience as a chef and has also competed for the Swedish national culinary team. He has won silver in the Culinary World Cup and gold in the Culinary Olympics, and was named Chef of the Year in 2009.

Operakällaren has earned one Michelin star and five red forks in the Michelin Guide, and is a member of "Les Grandes Tables du Monde/Traditions & Qualité," an association of the world's finest restaurants. The restaurant boasts a large selection of exquisite wines from around the world. The famous Nobiskällaren wine cellar at Operakällaren is one of Sweden's largest, with approximately 2500 labels. Several of the best wine producers are represented in the cellar, with unique vintage verticals that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Welcome to Operakällarens Matsal for lunch service on Saturdays. Haute Cuisine within the classic French format with a focus on the very best Nordic ingredients. We offer three different menus to choose from.

Dinner

In Operakällarens Matsal, the focus is on well-prepared exclusive food with the very best ingredients. In addition to our fixed menus Opera menu and Le Grand Menu, an Á la carte menu is offered where our guests can compose their own experience of food and drink with the guidance of our fantastic waiters and sommeliers. The dining hall also has its own patisserie.
